Julie-Anne is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the British Psychological Society.

Julie-Anne graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Witwatersrand majoring in English and Psychology (1995), completed her Honours degree in Psychology at RAU (1996), completed her teaching diploma (1997) and her Masters in Research psychology (Cum Laude) at RAU(2001). She then went on to complete her Masters in Educational Psychology at the University of Witwatersrand (2003).

Julie-Anne has acted as Psychologist at a number of schools and special needs schools both in South Africa and London. She is experienced in working with children with varying difficulties such as ADHD, ADD and emotional issues. She is an expert on autism which was the subject of her Master’s thesis.

Julie-Anne also has extensive experience in conducting psycho-educational assessments for children as well as career, recruitment and selection assessments for all ages. She has been in private practice for the last five years and has acted as a consultant to government and other corporate assessment  companies.

She believes in the innate individuality of each person and the importance of defining and embracing each individual’s uniqueness in facilitating growth.
